The Industrial Advisory Committee for FLATE brings industry directly to the Center. This board consists of members of industry partners from manufacturing community, representatives from related professional and industry organizations, and others in the community interested in promoting and supporting education and training of the manufacturing workforce at various levels. – See more here.
All NSF ATE large projects and centers are required to have a National Visiting Committee. The committee is made up of leaders in industry, education, workforce and economic development from across the nation, with local representation. – See more here.

FLATE’s administrative core is a partnership between St.Petersburg College, the College of Engineering at the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College. The Center is housed at Hillsborough Community College on its Brandon Campus under the leadership of Campus President, Dr. Nancee Sorenson. It occupies 1500 square feet of office space and shares the laboratory resources of the manufacturing /engineering technology program.
