FLATE (Florida Advanced Technological Education Center) is a National Science
Foundation (NSF) funded Regional Center. It is one of the 36 centers in the United States focused on
improving education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and is a leading resource
for education and training expertise, projects and services in Florida.
Our mission is to create a relevant statewide educational delivery system by supporting
technical programs, curriculum development, best practices, student involvement, and outreach
activities necessary to meet the workforce capacity and high performance skill needs of
manufacturing and its related sectors within the state.
